Privacy policy

BidRidge apps (Android, web and Windows) · Last updated October 8, 2026

BidRidge ("we", "us"), [BidRidge business address], makes the BidRidge apps and runs this website. This policy explains what happens to information in the BidRidge app and on our website.

Information you put in the app stays on your device

Estimates, jobs, customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, property addresses, notes, your company details and logo, and your rates are saved only on the phone, tablet or computer where you enter them. We do not receive them, store them, or sell them. There is no account or login.

When you share a proposal PDF, backup file or lead, it goes through the app you choose (for example your email or messaging app), under that app's privacy terms.

Licenses, trials and payments

To run free trials and licenses, our license server keeps:

Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your card and billing details under its own privacy policy; we never see your full card number. If you ask us to email a lost license key, the email is sent through our email provider. We use this information only to run your trial and license, prevent abuse and answer you, and keep it while your license exists plus the time tax and accounting rules require.

Optional: anonymous job results

The app has a setting, off unless you turn it on, called Share job data. When it's on, each job you close out or mark as lost sends us an anonymous record containing:

It never includes customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, notes, or your company name. Records are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored in a private spreadsheet that only we can access.

We use these records to improve BidRidge's starting prices and production rates, and we may share combined results that cannot identify any contractor. We do not sell them or share individual records.

You can turn sharing off at any time in Settings. To have records you shared deleted, email us with a job data file saved from the app (Settings → Save job data file), which contains your random ID.

Our website

If you use the contact form on our website, we receive the name, company, phone, email and message you type, and use them only to reply to you. Our website does not use advertising trackers.

Contractors' price pages

Contractors who use BidRidge may run a price page on their own website. Information a homeowner sends through that page goes to that contractor, not to us. Contact the contractor about their privacy practices.

Children

BidRidge is a business tool for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
